Vacation Bible School was a wonderful experience. We had almost 1,500 children and 350 volunteers this year. This was our first VBS in our new building; it really made everything move so much more smoothly.I was priviledged to be a crew leader and worked with another crew leader for a group of twenty-five children, from 1st-4th grade. They were an awesome group of children that were very sweet and well-behaved (quite the opposite from my summer school experience).
It was great to have Isaiah in my group. He loved being able to be with me and wanted to stay by my side most of the time.
During one of the lessons this week that covered facing your fears and pressing on with God's help, Dustin faced his major fear of heights by repelling down from the ceiling of the church. This made an impact on lots of kids and adults because most of them are very aware of Dustin's fear of heights.
