NASA and the Kemah Boardwalk

After returning from the basketball tournament in D/FW we decided to take the boys to spend a day at NASA and the Kemah Boardwalk. We took along our four-year-old nephew as well. After seeing ads on TV advertising the Star Wars exhibit the boys couldn't wait to go.

We had a nice time, but the Star Wars exhibit wasn't all that we thought it would be. It was still cool though to see the actual costumes and some spaceship/speeder thing used in the movie. Isaiah stood in line to jump from a trapeze type bar but then when he got there he decided that's not what he wanted to do after all and climbed back down. The boys had fun playing at many of the different stations and on the indoor playground. The nice thing is it was cool inside in the air conditioning.

After leaving NASA we had McDonald's for lunch and then headed over to Kemah. Caleb and Jacob rode the first ride. Then Caleb and I rode a fun spinning, flipping ride. My screams echoed throughout all of Kemah. Isaiah and Ty rode a ride and then Isaiah and Caleb rode a ride that takes you up and drops you over and over at unexpecting intervals.

We had a nice time hanging out together.
